THE CONCEPT
The vision for BMW Neue Klasse iDrive is to serve as the interface between real and virtual worlds. A driving experience without the traditional instrument cluster which includes the introduction of the first ever BMW Panoramic Vision.
THE INTERFACE
The interface and interaction takes place through the BMW Panoramic Vision, the Central Display and multifunction buttons on the steering wheel, choreographed with the interior ambient lighting, and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.
THE EXPERIENCE
Driving information is projected at the ideal height into the driver's line of sight and, for the first time, across the entire width of the windscreen.
Both the driver and front passenger are able to interact with the Panoramic Vision function using gesture controls.
